Cats 'n Critters Home Care provides drop in care for cats and other small companion animals.
Send an email to email@example.com letting us know your location, (we service Plymouth & Eden Prairie MN and some surrounding communities), dates our service is needed, types of pets you have, if pets are medicated, and if we are needed for one or two visits per day. We will respond within 24 hours.
Meet n Greet:
After our initial email/phone conversation, we will schedule a Meet n Greet. These are typically done three to four weeks before your departure and take 20 to 30 minutes (first time clients only, or introducing new pets or new medications). During this time we will go over your written contract and paper work. We will email the forms prior, or you can print them directly from the link below. Forms need to be completely filled out before the Meet n Greet. During the Meet n Greet, I will collect fees in full, as well as your house key and garage opener. I always require two ways to enter your home. I cannot guarantee our availability until we have completed our Meet n Greet and payment has been received.
Copies of Keys:
All keys provided to me should be tested prior to our Meet n Greet. Please provide two methods of entry to your home. For example, two keys or one key and one garage code. Pick up / Return of keys will cost $15 per trip, unless your family decides that your key be kept on file in a lockbox in my home. In that case the "Key Return Fee" becomes a credit to your account. You are welcome to keep a lockbox at your residence with our access as needed.

$25.00 per 30 minute visit (up to 7 miles)
Prices are reduced by $5 per day until Red Cross certification is complete in June 2019.
Prices / policies subject to change. Affected clients will be notified a minimum of 30 days in advance.
Additional Pet Fees:
More than two pets ($2 per pet)
Four or more pets require longer visits: 50 to 60 minutes. Additional $20 per 30 minute applies.
$15 collected at Meet n Greet
Care two days prior, two days after, as well as the holiday, are an additional $10 per visit.
Holidays consist of:
Easter, July 4, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's
Home Visits consist of:
Food/water - wash pet-related dishes
Litter boxes/ cage / enclosure clean up
Play/snuggle time as your pet dictates
One daily visit is typical for most pets.
Some pets require two visits per day due to feeding and medication.
Additional services offered at no cost:
Photos and daily updates via email or text message
Bring in mail and small packages
Water indoor plants (up to 10)
Garbage and recycle bin out
Cats 'n Critters Home Care does not "job share" with members of your family, friends, or other pet sitting businesses or their representatives during the time period we care for your pet/s. No one else is to enter your home for any reason. Due to insurance and liability, we cannot be held responsible for your home and personal belongings, including pets, if anyone else enters your home while you are away. It increases the likelihood that mistakes can happen, illness, injury, pet escape and/or death can occur. It also increases the threat that theft, fire, flood and other accidents could happen to your home / property.
All visits are between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 pm. Visits are completed in order of geographic location and visit frequency. Twice daily medicated pets are given priority and all other pet visits are completed in between.
Last minute cancellations can play havoc with our schedule. If you decide to cancel or change your trip, please let me know as soon as possible. Cancellations after your Meet n Greet during a holiday will result in 1/2 your visit fees forfeited. Any other time of the year (non-holiday), one week notice is required, or 1/2 your fees will be forfeited. There are no refunds for pet care services. In the event of an early return from a trip, no refunds are given as I have reserved that time for your pet care.
Schedule changes happen and we get it! If you need to extend days for us to care for your pet we will do our best to accommodate, however, we cannot guarantee our availability.
All clients must provide the most up to date information regarding pet(s) vaccination status, health status and the name and telephone number of their current Veterinary Clinic. A Veterinary Release & ER Vet form will be emailed to you prior to the Meet n Greet. It can also be found from the link below. This form needs to be filled out, signed and dated by legal owner(s) of all pets.
For the safety of both myself and your pets, I request that all medications be left in the original prescription bottle with pet's name and dosing information on it. All vet transports are charged the hourly rate ($45 per hour) & mileage. I ask that you leave a signed, blank check (for emergency veterinary care only) in addition OR give your veterinary clinic your credit card to keep on file.
